Vehicle crashes into pole, knocking out power in Florin area
The Sacramento Municipal Utility District reports that a vehicle crashed into a utility pole, knocking out power to 5,628 customers in the Florin area on Monday night.
The outage occurred at 9:36 p.m. and power is expected to be restored by 11:10 p.m., according to SMUD’s website.
An SUV struck a pole at 44th Street and 41st Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol’s incident webpage.
