Armed attempted robber sought in El Dorado County
The El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office is looking for Tristan Matthias Roberts, 25, suspected of attempted robbery.
Roberts is armed with a handgun and should be considered dangerous, the Sheriff’s Office reports. He was last seen fleeing the area of Pleasant Valley Road between Cedar Ravine Road and Hanks Exchange, east of Diamond Springs.
He is described as 6 feet 1 inch tall, weighing approximately 190 pounds with brown hair and eyes. He was last seen wearing black pants and no shirt, driving a white 2001 Ford step side pickup truck.
The truck was later found but authorities still seek Roberts.
