Man who suffers from dementia found

Sacramento police reported at 11:20 p.m. Thursday that they had located James Pettus, 59, who had been reported missing.

Pettus had last been seen at about 2:30 p.m. Wednesday near the 100 block of Pinedale Ave., in the Robla area, when he walked away from his residence, according to a police Facebook post.

Pettus suffers from dementia and has been known to walk away in the past.
