The Sacramento County Coroner’s Office has identified the woman killed earlier this week on Highway 99 when she was thrown from a crashing motorcycle and then run over by passing cars.
She is listed on the coroner’s website as 21-year-old Rebekah Rose London of Pine Grove, Amador County.
CHP Officer Michael Bradley said that at 9:15 p.m. Monday motorcyclist Christopher Liby, 32, was riding northbound on Highway 99 approaching 47th Avenue when for unknown reasons his motorcycle went down.
Liby and London, a passenger on the motorcycle, were thrown to the roadway. London was then struck numerous times by passing traffic.
