A woman has been arrested for manslaughter in connection with a South Lake Tahoe crash that took place in November.
Olga Pena Arce, 21, was arrested Wednesday after a four-month investigation by South Lake Tahoe police. She was booked into El Dorado County Jail on suspicion of manslaughter and driving under the influence.
Police said that at 4:30 a.m. Nov. 24 Arce was driving on Pioneer Trail near Edna Street when her car went out of control, hitting signs and a wood retaining wall. A passenger, Aimee Campos, died from injuries suffered in the crash.
Another passenger, Wayne Walker, was ejected from the vehicle but survived his injuries. Arce also suffered significant injuries.

A felony warrant for her arrest was issued by the court on Wednesday, leading to her arrest by officers later in the day at her South Lake Tahoe residence.
