Surveillance photos of a man suspected of robbing banks in the Arden Arcade and south Sacramento County areas earlier this month have been released by the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department.
The first robbery occurred just before 11:30 a.m. Oct. 13. A man entered the US Bank in the 3300 block of Arden Way and presented a bank employee with a threatening note demanding money, according to a Sheriff’s Department news release.
The second robbery occurred about noon Oct. 16 when the same man is believed to have entered the Wells Fargo Bank in the 8300 block of Elk Grove Florin Road. The man again presented a bank employee with a threatening note demanding money, the news release said.
In both cases, the man was seen leaving on foot.

He is described as black, 25 to 30 years old, tall with a large build. During both robberies, he was wearing an orange construction-type vest with a white T-shirt underneath, dark jeans and a baseball-style cap.
