Two males suspected in a Fairfield pharmacy robbery were arrested in Davis early Tuesday, the Davis Polcie Department reports.

About 12:40 a.m., a Davis police officer found a suspicious parked vehicle in the dark parking lot of the old Davis Mitsubishi dealership on Chiles Road, according to a department Facebook post.

Officers contacted the two males inside and discovered a substantial amount of prescription medications along with a pellet gun, the department said. Suspecting that the medications had recently been stolen, officers had the department check with surrounding agencies for any recent burglaries or thefts.

The Fairfield Police Department reported they were investigating an armed robbery at a CVS pharmacy in their city, which had occurred about an hour earlier. Fairfield police provided a description of the suspects and their vehicle, which matched.

Fairfield officers responded to Davis and identified the suspects and property and arrested both suspects, according to Davis police.
