A Roseville physician been arrested on suspicion of sexually assaulting a patient.
Narinder Singh Parhar, 64, was taken into custody Wednesday, according to a Roseville Police Department news release.
The arrest followed an investigation that began Aug. 14, when a woman in her 60s contacted police, reporting that her physician had touched her inappropriately during an office appointment. The alleged touching was inappropriate and in areas not related to the patient’s medical issue, the news release said.
Parhar was arrested on suspicion of sexual battery, sexual penetration and elder abuse, and booked into the South Placer jail.
