Sacramento resident Jamal Douglass, 26, was arrested after leading California Highway Patrol officers on a 100-mph chase through Solano and Yolo counties Tuesday afternoon.
California Highway Patrol – Solano County officers attempted to stop Douglass’s red Saturn for speeding on northbound Interstate 505 at 2:17 p.m. Tuesday. He instead exited on eastbound Highway and drove north on County Road 98, then south on Interstate 5 until he reached North Natomas.
CHP officers stopped Douglass on Arena Boulevard by bumping the back half of his car, Officer Rodney Fitzhugh said, causing him to skid to a stop. No one was hurt in the 32-minute chase.
Douglass was booked into Yolo County Jail on charges of evading arrest as well as driving without a license.
