Passenger dies in Sacramento crash

A woman was killed when the vehicle in which she was riding was involved in a collision at a Sacramento intersection Friday night.

The Sacramento County Coroner said that Pattana Songsawatwong, 41, was pronounced dead at 9:11 p.m. Friday.

She was a passenger in a vehicle that was turning left from northbound Power Inn Road onto Fruitridge Road at 8:39 p.m. when it was struck by another vehicle.

Sacramento police are conducting an investigation into the crash.
