Detectives want this suspect in armed robbery in Auburn

Placer County sheriff detectives are seeking the public’s help in identifying a man suspected of robbing a Cricket Wireless store.

He was caught on suveillance camera. The Placer County Sheriff’s Office released the video on Monday.

The suspect entered the Cricket Wireless store on Willow Creek Drive in Auburn on November 7, 2017, and robbed an employee at gunpoint, according to the Placer County Sheriff’s Office Crimes Against Persons Unit. The suspect brandished a black handgun and demanded money. He then ran out to a waiting car, which according to witnesses and video surveillance looked like a dark sedan.
