Man wanted for spying on women in Raley’s bathroom

Update: The man in question has been identified, according to the El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office, and the investigation remains ongoing.

Original post:

Authorities are looking for a man they say crept under stalls in a women’s restroom last week in El Dorado Hills.

The El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office described the suspect as a 5-foot-9 light-skinned black male with long, curly hair in his 20s. He was wearing a red hooded sweatshirt and dark pants when he entered a Raley’s about 6:17 p.m. Nov. 28, according to surveillance video.

The man then reportedly went into the woman’s restroom and began peering under occupied stalls before being run out by a customer and store employees. He had his hood up and hands over his face as he fled, according to the sheriff’s office.

Anyone with information about the suspect is asked to contact the El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office at 530-621-6600 and reference case EG17-10645.
