A Pollock Pines woman is in El Dorado County jail, accused of hitting her ex-boyfriend with her car.
Terrie Crampton, 45, was booked on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, felony domestic violence and felony hit and run. Also included was an enhancement for having prior felony convictions, according to an El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office news release.
Sheriff’s deputies and California Highway Patrol officers responded about 2 p.m. Thursday to a reported hit-and-run incident on Broadway near Texerna Court, just east of Placerville. A man was found seriously injured in the 2000 block of Broadway, and sheriff’s officials said it appeared he had been struck by a car.
The vehicle involved reportedly was a silver 2001 BMW driven by Crampton, who was said to be the victim’s girlfriend, according to sheriff’s officials. She returned to the scene and the BMW was found in the 3300 block of Newtown Road.

The victim, whose name has not been released, was airlifted to a Roseville hospital.
Sheriff’s officials said Crampton was arrested about 10 p.m. Thursday following investigation of the incident. She is being held in lieu of $195,000 bail.
