Police are investigating a homicide in which a man was shot and killed Sunday night in North Sacramento.
He was identified on the Coroner’s Office website as 45-year-old Christopher Keith Dubriel of Sacramento.
He was shot at least once on the 2500 block of Dale Avenue, a short residential street just north of El Camino Avenue, at around 8:30 p.m. Sacramento Fire Department personnel followed police officers to the scene and transported the victim to a local hospital, where he died.
Homicide detectives and crime scene investigators took over after officers canvassed the areas for witnesses and evidence Sunday night. No motive in the shooting has been determined.
