Bomb squad removes grenade found at Natomas shopping center
The Sacramento police bomb squad has disposed of an antique grenade that was found at a Natomas shopping center.
Officers were called to San Juan and Truxel roads about 7 a.m. Friday where a landscape crew had found the grenade outside the shopping center near Natomas High School.
The area was rendered safe after bomb squad members placed the grenade in a secure container and transported it from the area. No suspect has been identified.
