Lincoln man arrested in connection with UC Davis sexual assault

A Lincoln man has been arrested in connection with a January sexual assault on the UC Davis campus.

UC Davis police arrested Levi Denton Code, 23, Thursday on suspicion of rape and oral copulation by force, according to a university news release. Code, who is not a UC Davis student, was booked into Yolo County Jail with bail set at $250,000.

According to a previous story in The Sacramento Bee, the alleged assault occurred Jan. 9 on a campus bike path. Police said the suspect and victim met in downtown Davis at 1:30 a.m. and walked back to campus together, where the assault occurred about 2:30 a.m.
