Sacramento County prostitution sting nets 20
More than 20 adults were arrested on prostitution related charges this week, the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office announced Saturday.
Sheriff’s officials conducted an undercover “John Sting” prostitution operation in the 4600 block of Watt Avenue on Thursday, according to a department news release. A total of 22 adults, including several men, were arrested on prostitution charges. There were three additional arrests on a variety of unrelated criminal charges.
The sting was in response to complaints from community residents.
