A search of a DUI suspect’s car in Lincoln led authorities to a possible string of other crimes.

Officers found credit cards and other items in other people’s names in Miguel Hernandez’s vehicle, according to the Lincoln Police Department. A Lincoln police officer pulled 29-year-old Hernandez over on suspicion of drunken driving just after 10 p.m. Saturday night on Industrial Avenue near the Park and Ride lot.

While searching his vehicle before towing it, officers say they discovered methamphetamine, syringes, meth pipes and a scale in addition to other people’s credit cards. Police said three of the cards or items had recently been stolen in Roseville.

Hernandez is a Sacramento resident.
