Officers went to the 1500 block of Gerry Way after neighbors reported a suspicious vehicle parked in the area. Gerry Way residents told police they thought the vehicle might have been at that location for about a week.
One neighbor said she had noticed a smell, but she initially didn’t think anything of it. The body was discovered following a weekend of triple-digit temperatures.
An initial examination of the body found no obvious signs of trauma, according to police.
