The Sacramento Police Department has arrested a 19-year-old woman after she allegedly stabbed a man during a domestic dispute earlier this week, police say.
Twyquila Morris is being held at the Sacramento Main Jail on suspicion of attempted murder and assault with a deadly weapon in the incident, according to Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department inmate information.
Police say they made the arrest after going to the 500 block of Las Palmas Avenue, near Harmon Johnson Elementary School, about 3 p.m. Tuesday following a report from the Twin Rivers Police Department of a physical fight in the area.
Officers at the scene found a man with a non-life-threatening stab wound on his upper body and arrested Morris, who they determined was involved in the fight. Officer Eddie Macaulay said the altercation happened off school grounds, on the street outside of an apartment building nearby.
