Sacramento television stations are reporting that agents with the federal Department of Transportation’s Office of the Inspector General are conducting a search at the Lodi Parachute Center in Acampo.

Gina Swankie, spokeswoman for the Federal Bureau of Investigation in Sacramento, confirmed that the FBI “conducted warrant activity at that address” Tuesday, but said no other information could be provided at this time.

The center has been the starting point for numerous parachute-related deaths in recent years.
