Vandals smash 53 windows at El Camino High
Vandals broke 53 windows early Tuesday morning at El Camino Fundamental High School.
San Juan Unified School District spokeswoman Kim Minugh said that two people got of a car in a parking lot on the west side of campus around 1 a.m. and started breaking windows.
The vandals, who were on campus for about an hour, caused several thousand dollars in damage, said Minugh.
A security video captured the image of the vandals’ car pulling up to the campus, 4300 El Camino Avenue. The recording will be turned over to the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department, along with items left behind by the vandals.
