Truck driver killed in Elk Grove crash on Laguna Boulevard
One man was killed in a two-vehicle crash Saturday afternoon in Elk Grove, police report.
Elk Grove Police report that just after noon, the driver of an eastbound silver truck lost control on Laguna Boulevard near Bruceville Road, striking a light pole and a tree before colliding with another vehicle.
The driver of the truck was taken to a nearby hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
Police said they are investigating the crash. The victim’s identity has not yet been released.
