Sacramento police have released surveillance photos of two men sought in the armed robberies of two pizza restaurants Saturday night.

The first robbery was reported at 8:33 p.m. at Mountain Mike’s Pizza at 7465 Rush River Drive in the Pocket area. Two men, armed with handguns, entered the restaurant, made demands then fled the area, according to a Police Department news release.

About 30 minutes later, the same two men are believed to have committed an armed robbery at Round Table Pizza, 3005 Freeport Blvd, near McClatchy High School. The men robbed the business and shot an employee before leaving. The victim suffered one gunshot wound and was transported to an area hospital with injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening, the news release said.

Both men were black, according to police. One was described a 6 feet to 6 feet, 3 inches tall, heavy set, wearing dark clothing and a black mask.

The other was described as 5 feet, 6 inches to 5 feet, 8 inches tall, with short hair and wearing dark clothing.
