Offramps from Interestate 80 and Highway 113 in Davis that were closed due to protesters have reopened, according to the California Department of Transportation.
The westbound and eastbound offramps to Richards Boulevard and Olive Drive, as well as the northbound and southbound offramps from Highway 113 were closed mid-afternoon at the request of the California Highway Patrol.
The city of Davis previously said on Twitter that the protest had occurred earlier in downtown Davis before moving to UC Davis. The city described the protest as “peaceful” and said protesters sought to “stop the war on black America.”
