Nevada County sheriff seeks information about man who disappeared in 2013

The Nevada County Sheriff’s Office announced that it is investigating the disappearance of a man who has been missing for more than two years.

The last verified location of Christopher Lance Coggin, 53, was the Nevada County town of Washington around Feb. 21, 2013, according to a Sheriff’s Office news release issued Thursday, along with 2011 photo of Coggin. Coggin reportedly was involved in a verbal altercation or physical fight about that time, sheriff’s officials said.

Coggin appeared on the Sheriff’s Office’s “most wanted” list in November, identified as a fugitive from justice.
