The Sacramento County Coroner’s office has identified a bicyclist who was struck and killed Thursday by a light-rail train near the College Greens station in Sacramento.

The coroner’s website listed the bicyclist as Brock Brumfield, 36, of Sacramento.

Sacramento police said Brumfield crossed the tracks around 8:15 a.m. Thursday, when the crossing arms, bells and lights were operating. He was pronounced dead at the scene near Florin Perkins Road and Folsom Boulevard.
