A Rosemont man has been arrested for allegedly stabbing his sister, an act that prompted SWAT officers to converge on their residence.
Stefan Franz Sullivan, 52, who lives at a home in the 9000 block of Caldera Way with his sister and her family was booked into jail on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and making criminal threats, sheriff’s officials said Wednesday.
Sheriff's spokeswoman Sgt. Lisa Bowman said SWAT officers responded to the home Tuesday afternoon after the sister was stabbed. Bowman said the woman was taken to a hospital with injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening.
Sullivan refused requests by deputies to come out of the home. Neighboring residents were advised to remain in their home while SWAT officers worked to establish communication with him.
