Sacramento police need help identifying credit union robber

Sacramento police have released security camera photographs of a man who robbed two branches of Schools Financial Credit Union.

The first robbery occurred about 4:45 p.m. March 20 at the branch at 8725 Folsom Blvd. The man displayed a handgun, then fled after holding up a savings bank employee.

The second robbery occurred about 5 p.m. May 8 at the branch at 1631 Claudia Drive. Once again, the robber displayed a handgun and demanded cash.

The robber is about 5 feet 10 inches tall and has an average build. Anyone who recognizes the man is asked to call police at (916) 264-5471.
