Sacramento County sheriff’s deputies are investigating a stabbing reported early this morning by callers in the 5300 block of Silver Strand Way.
Deputies received a report around 2:30 a.m. that a man who had been stabbed had come to a home in the neighborhood near Interstate 80 and Greenback Lane. The unidentified man, who was in his early 30s, had at least one stab wound, sheriff’s Sgt. Lisa Bowman said.
The victim was taken to hospital for injuries that did not appear to be life threatening, Bowman said. He was not “full cooperative” with investigators and said he didn’t know who stabbed him or where it happened, Bowman said.
“We can attribute that likely to his shock,” she said.
