Lodi man, 67, dies of gunshot wounds in an apparent homicide

A 67-year-old Lodi man suffered multiple gunshot wounds and died in an apparent homicide late Monday night.

At approximately 10 p.m, officers responded to reports of gunshots and a man down in front of a residence on the 1100 block of Rivergate Drive in north Lodi, a news release by the Lodi Police Department said.

The victim was found unresponsive and pronounced dead at the scene, the report said.

The investigation by Lodi police is ongoing.
