A: Robert Benson Adams, former principal of Creative Frontiers school in Citrus Heights, is still awaiting trial on child molestation charges.

His trial date has been reset several times. According to Sacramento Superior County online records, it now is scheduled for Sept. 29.

Adams, 64, was arrested in September 2011 and charged with six felony counts of lewd and lascivious behavior with a child younger than 14 and a misdemeanor count of annoying and molesting a child younger than 18. He is accused of methodically and routinely molesting young girls at the private school dating back to 1996.

Adams has pleaded not guilty to the charges.
