A man who robbed the same convenience store three times in 10 days was sentenced to prison Friday, the Sacramento County District Attorney’s Office said.

Taher Farraj, 31, was convicted in Sacramento Superior Court on June 6 of three counts related to the armed robberies. He was sentenced to 31 years and 8 months in prison, the DA’s Office said in a news release.

Farraj robbed the same convenience store on Fruitridge Road on April 15, 18 and 24 last year while armed, the DA’s Office said. He got clerks to open the cash register by asking for change or buying something, then pulled out a silver revolver and grabbed cash.

Store surveillance cameras recorded the three robberies, the news release said. A probation search of Farraj’s home and car yielded clothes matching those worn by the robber and a loaded .22-caliber silver revolver, officials said.

Farraj was previously convicted of being a felon in possession of a firearm and transporting or selling marijuana, the DA’s Office said.
