ID theft attempt at Roseville ATM caught on camera. Deputies are looking for leads

The Placer County Sheriff’s Office is seeking two men who were caught on security cameras last month attempting to withdraw money using someone else’s account.

The victim’s business credit card was used at a SAFE Credit Union and Schools Financial Credit Union ATM in Roseville on Oct. 10, although he still has his card and authorities do not know how it was compromised, the Sheriff’s Office said in a Facebook post.

One photo of a suspect shows him looking down at a piece of paper while punching in the victim’s PIN, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

The pair were last seen driving a black late model Toyota Camry, the post said.

The Sheriff’s Office asks anyone with information to call 530-889-7830.
