Three people traveling from Sacramento were arrested at Logan International Airport on Saturday after Massachusetts State Police officers got a tip from Sacramento law enforcement officials about two individuals carrying marijuana in their suitcases, according to the news blog of Massachusetts State Police.

The report stated that Jerry McNair, a 48-year-old man, and Ladonna Hardman, a 57-year-old woman, arrived on an American Airlines flight at approximately 6 p.m. and met the third suspect, Saudia Watson, a 37-year-old woman, in the baggage claim area of the airport.

Police initially only approached McNair and Hardman, but decided to contact Watson after investigators noticed similarities between Watson’s luggage and the two others suspects’ bags, according to officials.

The post stated that upon searching each suspect’s luggage, officials discovered more than 150 pounds of marijuana.

The three suspects were charged with conspiracy to violate drug laws. McNair and Hardman were additionally charged with trafficking marijuana. All three are in custody and are to be arraigned in East Boston District Court.
