Two-alarm fire reported along Franklin Boulevard
Sacramento Fire Department crews extinguished a two-alarm fire Tuesday morning in a vacant commercial building on Franklin Boulevard.
When firefighters arrived at the scene of the blaze in the 6000 block of Franklin Boulevard about 8 a.m., crews could see heavy smoke coming from the building.
It took 40 firefighters about a half hour to quell the fire in the boarded-up building. Cause of the fire could has not be determined.
