Police seek suspect in bank robbery at Roseville Safeway store
Roseville police seek to identify a man accused of robbing a bank inside a Safeway store Wednesday afternoon.
The robbery occurred about 2:40 p.m. at the U.S. Bank inside the Safeway at 9045 Woodcreek Oaks Blvd. The man gave the teller a note demanding cash. Although he mentioned a gun, no gun or other weapon was seen, and he left with an undisclosed amount of cash, according to a Police Department news release. He was last seen getting into a vehicle.
Police said no one was hurt during the robbery.
The suspect, shown in a surveillance photo, is described as in his late teens or early 20s, about 5 feet 5 inches tall, with an average build and short blond hair. He was wearing a baseball cap, sunglasses and a green T-shirt.
