Possible road rage crash flips vehicle, blocks two lanes of Highway 99 near Elk Grove
A three-vehicle crash blocked at least two lanes of traffic on Highway 99 in south Sacramento County for about 45 minutes Monday morning, according to California Highway Patrol incident logs.
The crash occurred just after 7 a.m. on southbound Highway 99 near Calvine Road, just north of Elk Grove, according to CHP.

Another entry in CHP’s activity log reported the collision as a possible road rage incident.
CHP, Sacramento County Sheriff’s deputies and Sacramento Fire Department officials have responded to the collision.
All lanes were reopened at 7:45 a.m.
