Man shot Sunday night near American River College, sheriff says. Two suspects sought
A man was shot and wounded late Sunday night at an intersection near American River College, and two suspects are sought in connection with the shooting, the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department said Monday in a news release.
Responding to a 911 call just before midnight, deputies located a man with multiple lower-body gunshot wounds lying on the ground near the intersection at Auburn Boulevard and College Oak Drive, the news release said. The injuries were not life-threatening, sheriff’s officials said.
Investigators determined the victim had been “accosted” by two male suspects who left the scene on bicycles, the release said.
