A Sacramento man was arrested Thursday morning in connection with a report of indecent exposure in the Arden Arcade area near a preschool.

Sayed Nasratullah, 31, was taken into custody shortly after 9:12 a.m., near Fulton Avenue and El Camino Avenue after someone recognized him from news reports, according to a news release issued by the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department.

The person who reported Nasratullah to deputies had seen photos of a man who appeared to be fondling himself after a preschool teacher’s Facebook post asked for community help in identifying him, according to the release.

Jessica Hancock described the photo in her post as a “child predator standing behind some bushes fondling himself.”

The sheriff’s department initially responded to the indecent exposure victim in the 2500 block of Belport Lane on Tuesday, according to the release.

Nasratullah is not believed to have a previous record with the sheriff’s department, according to the release.

He is currently being held at the Sacramento County jail on a $1,000 bail and is due to appear in court on Tuesday.

Although investigators believe there was only one adult victim in this case, they are asking anyone with any further information on the indecent exposure to call 916-874-5115.
