Fatal traffic collision between vehicle and motorcycle near 26th shuts down Q Street
A traffic accident near 26th Street and Q Street in midtown Sacramento on Tuesday evening left one dead and shut down several blocks of traffic.
Captain Norm Leong of the Sacramento Police Department confirmed on Twitter that the fatal accident involved a motorcycle and a vehicle.
Department spokesman Sgt. Vance Chandler said the motorcyclist had died but the driver of the vehicle was uninjured.
Police were still on the scene and traffic was still impacted as of 9 p.m.
