Marijuana delivery driver robbed at gunpoint in north Sacramento, police say

A marijuana delivery driver was robbed at gunpoint Wednesday night, Sacramento police said.

Shortly before 11 p.m., the driver stopped in the 3100 block of Palmer Street – a residential neighborhood in north Sacramento – to make contact with a customer, police said. While in his car, he was approached by three men who allegedly robbed him of marijuana and personal items before fleeing.

The driver then called 911 and police arrived to take a report, said Officer Linda Matthew, spokeswoman for the Sacramento Police Department. The officers canvassed the area for video surveillance.

No arrests have been made, she said.
