A search of her car revealed 50.2 grams of marijuana, 49.6 grams of methamphetamine, .8 grams of a white substance, a scale, a pipe and plastic bags, according to the release.
Burton was booked into the jail and is still in custody, according to the release.
“When you come to visit an inmate at the San Joaquin County Jail, it’s never a good idea to bring illegal drugs with you,” the sheriff’s office wrote on Facebook. “Yesterday was a busy day for our Custody K9s and their handlers.”
