Fight breaks out onstage during Ace of Spades rap concert in Sacramento
Police dispersed concertgoers in downtown Sacramento Saturday night after a fight broke out inside the Ace of Spades nightclub.
Sacramento Police Department officers responded to reports of a fight at the club on the 1400 block of at 10:06 p.m., according to department spokesman Sgt. Vance Chandler.
Vallejo rap group SOB X RBE was performing. Videos of the incident posted to social media indicate that the fight broke out during the artists’ performance. Three people fell off the stage into the crowd as security attempted to stop the fight.
More fights broke out, both onstage and near the front of the crowd, videos show.
About 1,200 people were outside the venue shortly after the fight, Chandler said, and law enforcement officers from multiple agencies forced the crowd to disperse. At least one helicopter was dispatched to the scene to deliver dispersal orders.
Chandler said no injuries were reported as a result of the altercations.
No arrests were made, Chandler said, and the department will continue to investigate the incident.
