Sacramento City Councilman Jeff Harris says law enforcement helped find and recover his van, which he said was stolen Friday night.

Harris said in social media posts Monday night that California Highway Patrol and Sacramento police found the nondescript white work van “mostly intact” but with all of its contents stolen.

“Will wonders never cease!” Harris posted, adding that the van is “my trusty contractor’s workhorse of 16 years!”

Harris’ van was stolen in the River Park neighborhood where he lives, he said in a Saturday post to social media.
