Police seeking leads regarding death of woman who fell from truck in south Sacramento

Sacramento police are looking into the death of a woman in south Sacramento who is believed to have fallen from a truck on Monday.

In a news release, the Sacramento Police Department said officers were dispatched to a hospital, where a woman was being treated for multiple injuries before succumbing to her wounds.

Investigators believe the woman was fatally wounded after falling out of a moving truck in south Sacramento.

The truck, a dark blue 2010 Toyota Tundra, has been recovered by police. The victim was described as an Asian woman around 30 years old.

Police believe there were witnesses to the incident and are seeking assistance from the community.
