Sacramento County sheriff’s detectives are asking the public’s help identifying a man suspected of robbing a Madison Avenue sports nutrition business last month.
The robbery occurred about 2:10 p.m. May 26. A man, shown in a surveillance photo, entered the store and selected merchandise with the clerk’s assistance. The man then pulled out a handgun and demanded money from the cash register, according to a Sheriff’s Department news release. He placed the cash in a plastic band and left the business on foot.
The suspect is described as in his 20s, approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing about 160 pounds. He was clean shaven and wore a light-colored baseball hat, dark sunglasses, a blue plaid long-sleeved shirt and dark-colored pants.
No one was injured in the robbery.
