Linda man arrested for Thanksgiving shooting that left one dead in Yuba County

A Linda man is under arrest after he allegedly shot two people on Thanksgiving in Yuba County, killing one and hospitalizing the other, according to the Yuba County Sheriff’s Office.

Moe Larry Nanlap, 23, was arrested around 11:40 a.m. Thursday after the shooting in East Linda, according to the release. One victim died at the hospital while another remains hospitalized.

He has been charged with murder and is being held without bail.

Authorities say the investigation is still ongoing and anyone with information should contact the Yuba County Sheriff’s Office at 530-749-7777.
