One injured in shooting on Newhall Drive in Rosemont, sheriff’s says
One person has been taken to the hospital after a shooting in Rosemont near Newhall Drive on Saturday night, according to the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office.
The shooting occurred in the 9100 block of Newhall Drive. No information was available regarding the shooter. Several calls came into the Sheriff’s Office regarding shots in the area, according to sheriff’s office spokeswoman Sgt. Tess Deterding. The victim knocked on a neighbor’s door for help.
The status of the victim was not immediately available, Deterding said, other than they have been taken to a hospital. The investigation is active and ongoing, she said.
