Woman arrested on suspicion of Pollock Pines domestic murder, El Dorado officials say

A woman was arrested Saturday on suspicion of murder after a man was found dead in a Pollock Pines home.

In a news release, the El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office said Raenee Goodman was taken into custody after a caller reported a stabbing.

A neighbor called deputies and reported that Goodman had stabbed her boyfriend to death in self defense.

Responding deputies found a dead man at the home, and detectives and CSI investigated the scene, ultimately arresting Goodman on suspicion of murder and booking her into the El Dorado County jail.

The Sheriff’s Office will not be releasing the identity of the victim pending family notification and do not have any outstanding suspects in connection with the killing.
